Privacy notice

Who we are

TashIT (“we”, “us”) is an AI, software and intelligent automation company headquartered in Pakistan and working with clients internationally. This notice explains what personal information we collect through www.tashit.com, why we collect it and what choices you have. For any question about it, email info@tashit.com.

What we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us, and standard technical logs.

• Contact form. Your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your company, country, area of interest, budget range and the message you write. We also record that you agreed to this notice.
• Email. Whatever you include when you write to us directly, such as your name, email address, signature details and the content of your message and attachments.
• Server logs. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time. When you submit the contact form, your IP address is also held briefly in server memory to limit repeated submissions, normally for about 10 minutes after your last submission. It is not stored with your enquiry.

We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health or financial account details. Please do not include it in your message.

Why we use it

• To read and reply to your enquiry.
• To discuss and prepare a proposal for a potential engagement, if you want one.
• To keep a record of our business correspondence.
• To keep the website secure, working properly and protected from spam and abuse.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not add you to marketing mailing lists.

Legal basis

Where data protection law requires a legal basis for using personal information, we rely on:

• Consent, which you give when you submit the contact form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing info@tashit.com.
• Legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries you send us, discussing a possible engagement at your request, and running and securing our website.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under our instructions:

• Email service providers, which deliver contact form submissions to our inbox and host our mailbox.
• Our hosting provider, which runs this website and keeps its server logs.

These providers may process information outside the country where you live. We use providers that commit to protecting the data they handle for us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence only for as long as we need them to reply to you, to discuss a possible engagement and to keep a reasonable record of our business correspondence. After that, we delete them. If we enter into a contract with you or your organisation, we keep relevant records for as long as the contract and applicable law require. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period set by that provider. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• delete your information;
• stop using your information, or withdraw your consent.

To make a request, email info@tashit.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. We will reply within a reasonable time and within any period that applicable law sets. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and it does not include third-party analytics or tracking scripts. If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. It stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Security

The site is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Enquiries are delivered to a mailbox that only authorised people at TashIT can access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending confidential documents until we have agreed how to exchange them.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our website or our practices change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
